Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Access Alerts LLC ("we") collects when you use MakersDrop (makersdrop.app) and how we use it.

Visitors (no account)

• Device cookie. We set one random ID cookie so each browser can glow an app once and so views and clicks are counted once per day. It isn't linked to your name or email.
• Your browser's storage. Your "Recently viewed" list and which apps you've glowed are stored only in your browser.
• Basic logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.

Makers (with an account)

• Email address and name from Google, Apple or your email sign-in
• Country you choose, and the apps you list (name, logo, link, description)
• Credit balance, Drop history and Drop statistics
• Payments are handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We never see your full card details; we receive a transaction ID and what you bought.

How we use it

To run MakersDrop: show Drops, count glows, views and clicks, prevent abuse, process credits, send service emails about your Drops and receipts, and, only if you opt in, send our newsletter. We don't sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the site for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Paddle (payments), Anthropic and Google (automated safety checks of submitted listings), and Apple (we load Apple's public app chart). If we show Google ads, Google may use cookies to serve ads; you can manage this at adssettings.google.com.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account data by emailing support@makersdrop.app. You can clear the device cookie and browser storage at any time in your browser settings. We keep Drop and payment records as long as needed for accounting and legal reasons.

Children

MakersDrop accounts are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
